TONGASS LANDSCAPE
TONGASS LANDSCAPE
The Tongass National Forest, the largest intact temperate rainforest in the world, is a tapestry of ancient trees, vibrant ecosystems, and salmon-rich streams. While filming the documentary Understory, I had the opportunity to circumnavigate Prince of Wales Island and explore some of the Tongass’s wildest corners with my wife, Elsa Sebastian.

These archival photographs are giclée printed on cotton fiber to museum standards with a 100-year lifespan. If you choose a framed print, they will be individually built of ¾ inch ash sourced from the Appalachian Mountains and protected by a UV-resistant, anti-reflective acrylic glazing.
