ABOUT
Colin Arisman is a full-time filmmaker and photographer. Colin cut his teeth in 2014, hiking the 2,650 mile Pacific Crest Trail with a camera in hand. Today his visual storytelling continues to document human connections to the natural world, with a focus on outdoor recreation, ecology, conservation, wild foods, and rural communities.
Colin’s work has been praised by Short of the Week as “something of a marvel… worthy of study by documentary filmmakers outside of the nature genre.”
His film production company, Wild Confluence Media specializes in creating branded content and catalyzing change through documentary films. In 2018, Colin earned a Master’s degree in Leadership for Sustainability from the University of Vermont in order to make a more positive impact through media. Colin is based in Alaska and travels internationally on assignments.
