RED GOLD
In the summer of 2022, 79 million sockeye salmon returned to Bristol Bay Alaska, smashing records. I captured this photo about 100 miles from the nearest community while working on a documentary film about the proposed Pebble Mine, which threatens the world’s largest salmon run.
About the prints & framing
These archival photographs are giclée printed on cotton fiber to museum standards with a 100-year lifespan. If you choose a framed print, they will be individually built of ¾ inch ash sourced from the Appalachian Mountains and protected by a UV-resistant, anti-reflective acrylic glazing.
